The Veteran Wellness and Strength Team was created in partnership with the Northern Nevada VA to offer an outlet for area Veterans dealing with PTSD, VA rated disabilities, and re-integrating into society after retirement. Their current goal is to train and compete in a USA Powerlifting competition, while learning more about strength training and overall health and wellness. The program brings in speakers to discuss nutrition and recovery with the athletes. Athletes of this program receive: Coaching 3x per week with Team Training Sessionand Online Powerlifting Programming through TrainHeroic.
This program is an application based program that requires extensive participation and the motivation to improve.

Twice Weekly Free program offered to gym members age 60+ focused on building strength they can use in day to day life.
The seniors are taken through a two a split per week, Tuesday and Thursdays being split into Upper Body and Lower Body.
These expertises are designed to carry over into day-to-day activities for these seniors. Levi (Senior Coach) discusses nutrition, training and recovery throughout each session to allow these seniors to improve in many aspects of their lives.
The CAMO-VET program is a gym membership sponsored through the foundation that allows Veterans to train off their sentencing. Alternative Sentencing is available through the Reno Justice Court System and is a program that requires Veterans to complete self-improvement hours. These Veteran's can receive a Membership provided by the foundation to execute these hours in positive environment, working on their health, fitness and mind.
The American Iron Sports Foundation works with the local Reno Health Industry to host Community Health Days. These days offer group workouts, healthy diet stations, hydration stations and the help of volunteers to provide a fun day in the parking getting their movement on. Community Health Events are open to the public and we encourage local vendors, business and food trucks to participate.
